Baglung Sewa Samaj Canada is organizing the March Break Quiz Contest (3rd Edition) on March 21, 2026. The objective of this program is to familiarize Nepali Canadian children up to grade 8 to the Nepali culture, language, history and heritage through the quiz contest. The quiz contest comprises the questions from aforementioned subjects. In addition to the questions related to Nepal, the quiz manifests questions from STEM, sports, entertainment, and general knowledge in Canadian and global context.
The participants will be divided into two separate categories – (Junior school) grade 1 to 5, and (Middle school) grade 6 to 8. The participants from junior school will be placed in one group where teams will be formed based on the numbers of participants. Likewise, the participants from middle school will be placed in another group and the teams will be formed based on the number of participants. The questions asked will match their respective grade standards. The winner and runner up team will be awarded cash prize and certificates. Likewise, the participants of each team will be given the certificate of participation. Likewise, we will serve light snacks to the participants.
We request community organizations, well-wishers and community leaders to spread this message among our fellow community members so that they can register their children to the program.
